We've been, getting together, with some of the leaders around here. Who's been organizing the clean up. And they've been telling us the places to go.

Yeah looks like, they might, reconstruct this completely so...we're just throwing out the bricks and I think after they're going to rake everything else and take it out.

And what seems like an overwhelming task, the victims say, 'the outpour' from volunteers gives them hope.
On Feb 29 and Mar 2, 83 tornadoes hit 8 states, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana etc. It brought a terrible result that about 50 people died of and each state declared a state of emergency.
At 4:00 am, Mar 4, members of World Mission Society Church of God in Denver departed for Indiana with a relief and members in Omaha and Kansas city joined on the way to Indiana. They decided to go help people devastated by a disaster right after watching news on Mar 3.
It normally takes 3 days that countermeasures have been set into motion by a state government, but WMSCOG members could not be just waiting until a state government came up with measures. Instead, went to a place where there are people in need.
It's not always easy to put it into practice what we know and have to to, even though it's a teaching of God, but members of World Mission Society Church of God decided to help others and serve communities sacrificing their time because it's the way Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother have taught and shown us as an example.

The reason I got interested in WMSCOG is its activities for serving communities.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that important what their beliefs are about, but I am sure people of World Mission Society Church of God are making efforts to make the world a better place to live.
