Toluca city has joined the world wide environmental clean-up campaign which is being carried on in 2,200 cities in 150 countries. 

About 150 members of World Mission Society Church of God, who are taking the initiative in world mission, have collected garbage and waste in an area around Benito Juarez market, where a lot of garbage is produced every weekend as well as which has a historic meaning in commerce. 

A deacon of Church of God, Immanuel Hernandez, explains the motive of this campaign like this.

More than 1.5 million saints are conducting this environmental campaign simultaneously in major or small and medium-sized cities in 150 countries. As I said, we are participating in this campaign with the hope of arousing people’s attention to environmental problems and thus having them more interested in keeping the world we live cleaner as well as directly cleaning the environment.

This environmental clean-up campaign has been conducted in 2,200 places of 150 countries including States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Oceania, Asia and Africa etc. where World Mission Society Church of God is located.
